FUE Hair Transplant
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is an established technique where follicles are harvested one by one with no linear scar. With careful planning it delivers a dense, natural result.

What is FUE and how is it done?
In FUE, follicular grafts are extracted one by one from the donor area at the back of the scalp using a micromotor. Because there is no strip incision, no visible linear scar remains and the donor area returns to a normal look quickly, even with short hair.
Harvested grafts are implanted following the natural exit angle and direction of your hair. The hairline is designed around your facial features and age, the goal is always a natural, balanced result.
- No linear scar, minimal-trace donor harvest
- High graft capacity for dense coverage
- Natural hairline and direction design
FUE vs the older strip (FUT) method
The right method depends on the person. The clear answer comes from the doctor's assessment.
Is FUE right for you?
FUE suits people with a sufficiently dense donor area whose hair loss has settled to a defined level. The clear answer comes from the doctor assessing your donor and recipient areas.
- Male-pattern (androgenetic) loss
- Adequate donor reserve
- Realistic expectations and general fitness

Free AnalysisHair growth timeline
Results come over time. The windows below vary from person to person.
- 0-3 days
First days
Mild redness and small crusts appear in the treated area. This is normal and clears quickly.
- 2-4 weeks
Shock loss
Most of the transplanted hairs shed. This is expected; the roots stay in place.
- 3-4 months
New growth
The roots start to produce new hair. The first strands can look thin and grow stronger over time.
- 6-9 months
Filling in
Hair visibly thickens and grows in its natural direction.
- 12 months
Settling
The final look usually shows around 12 months. The timing varies from person to person.

Questions on your mind
Will FUE leave a scar?
Because grafts are taken individually there is no linear/strip scar; the tiny dots in the donor area fade quickly.
Is the procedure painful?
It is performed under local anaesthesia, so you feel no pain during the procedure. Mild tenderness afterwards settles within a few days.
When will I see results?
Transplanted hairs shed in the first weeks (shock loss); permanent growth begins over months. The final look varies from person to person but usually settles around 12 months.
How many grafts will I need?
The number depends on your loss pattern and target density; the exact figure is set by the doctor's assessment.
