All-on-4 Implant Bridge

All-on-4 is a full-arch approach where four implants per jaw carry a fixed prosthesis, considered when all teeth are missing or cannot be saved. Planning uses CT imaging and digital design, and the pathway is built around two visits to Türkiye.

What is All-on-4 and how does the process run?

In the All-on-4 approach, four implants placed at planned angles into the strongest available bone form the foundation for a fixed prosthesis carrying a full arch of teeth. In many cases this allows a fixed solution without additional bone grafting.

At the surgical visit the implants are placed and, where suitable, a provisional fixed bridge is fitted shortly after. Once integration with the bone is complete, the final bridge is produced with impressions and try-ins at the second visit and fixed in place.

  • Fixed full-arch prosthesis on 4 implants per jaw
  • Planning with CT imaging and digital design
  • A written, two-visit treatment pathway

All-on-4 vs a traditional denture

An honest look at both options. The right choice depends on your jaw and your needs.

All-on-4 fixed bridge
Traditional full denture
Hold
Fixed to implants, does not shift
Rests on the gum, can loosen over time
Chewing
Helps you bite with close-to-natural force
Hard foods can be a struggle
Daily use
Stays in the mouth, not removed
Taken out for cleaning
Jaw bone
Implant load helps stimulate the bone
Bone can shrink over time
Palate feel
Leaves the palate open, so taste feels natural
An upper plate can dull taste

The right method depends on the person; the definitive call is made with CT imaging and a clinical examination.

Suitability

Is All-on-4 right for you?

Considered for patients who have lost all their teeth or whose remaining teeth cannot be saved. Bone volume, gum health and general health factors (such as uncontrolled diabetes or heavy smoking) all influence the decision; the definitive call is made with CT imaging and a clinical examination.

  • Complete tooth loss or teeth beyond saving
  • Adequate bone volume confirmed on CT
  • General health reviewed together with the clinician

Frequently asked questions

Questions on your mind

Are same-day fixed teeth possible?

Where the case is suitable, a provisional fixed bridge can be fitted shortly after surgery. The final bridge is placed at the second visit once healing is complete; this varies by person and is clarified at the examination.

Why are 4 implants enough?

Angling the posterior implants makes more efficient use of the available bone and helps distribute load evenly. In some cases the clinician may recommend a different implant plan; the decision is made at the examination.

How is it maintained?

A fixed bridge is cared for with daily brushing and interdental cleaning, plus regular check-ups. Maintenance habits are decisive for the lifespan of both the bridge and the implants.

How are the visits to Türkiye planned?

The pathway is usually built around two visits: surgery (and a provisional bridge where suitable) on the first, the final bridge on the second. Dates and the day-by-day plan are shared in writing after the remote assessment.
