Dental implants, digitally planned and placed with guided surgery

A titanium screw replaces the missing tooth's root, forming a natural foundation. Digital scanning + guided surgery ensures the implant is placed at the right position and angle, functionally replacing the natural tooth.

What dental implants are, and why they differ from a bridge

A dental implant is a small titanium screw that mimics the root of a missing tooth. It is placed in the jawbone and fuses with the bone over months, this is called osseointegration. Then an abutment and crown are added; the result functionally replaces the natural tooth.

The key difference from alternatives like a bridge is that no neighbouring healthy teeth need to be trimmed down. Implants also slow bone loss because they stimulate the bone with chewing forces, doing the work the natural root used to do.

Why the implant system matters

  • We use internationally recognised implant systems with a manufacturer warranty; the system used is named in your treatment plan.
  • Worldwide service network, spare parts and revisions can be found in any country.
  • Connection-geometry standards, long-term crown changes are easier.
  • Manufacturer-warrantied implants, alongside our written clinical care plan.
Suitability

Are implants right for you?

Implant success depends fundamentally on two things: adequate bone volume and good general health. Most adults qualify; if bone loss is present, the site can be prepared with a sinus lift or bone graft.

  • You have one or more missing teeth (single tooth, multiple teeth or full arch).
  • Your general health is good (uncontrolled diabetes, heavy smoking or cancer treatment require evaluation).
  • Your jaw bone volume is sufficient, or grafting can provide it.
  • You can commit to regular oral care.

Honest note: if there is very advanced bone loss or multiple chronic conditions, alternative treatments (fixed bridge, removable prosthesis) may be more practical. After the free digital scan, our written recommendation compares alternatives and long-term costs.

From implant placement to the final crown

Implant treatment is a 3-6 month process, the screw fusing with the bone (osseointegration) takes time. Here is the honest timeline.

  1. Day 0

    Implant placement

30-60 minutes, local anaesthesia. The implant is placed at the correct position via digital scan + guided surgery.

  2. Weeks 1-2

    Suture check

Sutures are removed (if needed) and the healing process begins. Soft diet recommended.

  3. Months 1-3

    Osseointegration

The implant fuses silently with the bone. Usually asymptomatic, expected and normal.

  4. Months 3-4

    Abutment + impression

Once osseointegration is complete, the abutment is placed and a digital impression is taken for the crown.

  5. Months 4-6

    Final crown

A custom zirconium or ceramic crown is placed and adjusted to your bite.

What changes your price

We quote one price covering a single implant, including the implant, abutment, crown and travel. For multiple implants or All-on-4 we provide a written package price. Your exact price is set in writing after the assessment.

Implant count

Single implant, multiple implants or full arch (All-on-4), the biggest factor.

Implant system + crown

The implant system and crown material chosen affect the price.

Additional procedures

Optional extras like sinus lift, bone graft or extraction if needed.

Three things move the figure, your assessment makes them clear up front.

The same discipline, behind every implant

Implant success means the right material + the right placement + the right recovery protocol. Every case follows the same documented standard.

Digital-planning protocol

CT scan + digital guide locks implant position before surgery.

Guided-surgery protocol

The surgeon applies the planned angle and depth one-to-one via the guide.

Sterilisation protocol

Hospital-grade sterilisation + single-use instruments, infection risk minimised.

Care + follow-up protocol

Written care plan + 12-month digital follow-up. The implant is covered by the manufacturer's warranty; a manufacturing-related issue is assessed for product replacement under that warranty.

Frequently asked questions

Questions on your mind

How long does an implant take?

Placement takes 30-60 minutes. Osseointegration (fusing with the bone) takes 3-6 months; then abutment + crown takes 1-2 weeks. Accelerated (single-visit) protocols are possible in certain cases.

Does it hurt?

Placement is done under local anaesthesia; the aim is that you feel no pain during the procedure. Mild discomfort the next day (similar to a routine extraction) is possible and managed with prescribed pain relief.

How long does an implant last?

With good care and regular check-ups, implants are usually used for many years. The implants we use carry the manufacturer's warranty; real functional life depends on care and regular check-ups.

Can implants be done with bone loss?

In most cases yes, a sinus lift or bone graft can rebuild the site. After a digital scan, our written recommendation explains the alternatives.

How is the implant price set?

The price depends on the number of implants, the implant system chosen, the crown material and any extra steps such as a bone graft. Your exact price is shared in writing after your assessment.

How long do I stay in Istanbul?

5-7 days is enough for implant placement (surgery + suture check). For the crown, a second 5-day visit is needed 3-6 months later. Accelerated (single-trip) protocols are possible in certain cases.

What does the manufacturer's warranty cover?

The manufacturer's warranty covers replacement of the implant in the event of a manufacturing defect. Osseointegration follow-up is part of our clinical care plan; details are shared at the examination.
